World Pool-Billiard Association - Official Website of the Artistic Pool Division

The 2018 WPA World Artistic Pool Championship will be held at Bogies Billiards and Sports Bar on February 8-10th, 2019. Players from all over the United States and the World will descend upon Houston Texas to show off their skills and compete for the honor to be called World Champion.

 

The WPA-APD will partner with a local military charity to help raise money for service members and their families.  The event will feature an open speed pool tournament on Friday night as a fundraiser. This event allows amateurs to compete with the Artistic Pool pros in a test of speed and concentration. Mark Dimick has won this event 3 times while Jason Lynch edged out Mark in the last speed pool event. 

 

Saturday night the crowd will be treated to a side event of entertainment and skill as 8 players compete in the inaugural Dr Cue Cup, a team exhibition.  Local players Stacy Mendrick and Kaitlyn Bongiorno will each captain a team of players they select and compete in the playoff format.
